Free “Printables” for Teachers of Special Needs Students Available Online

Eighteen sets of fun flashcards covering topics from ABC balloons to ending punctuation marks are available for download on the SmartEdTech Website. Each set of cards can be printed with photos on one side and the words on the back.

The cards are 2”x2” and can be used in the traditional Cariboo game and with most common communication boards. Each set is correlated to Common Core standards and Texas TEKS, and has teaching suggestions written by educators to help you with your lesson plans.

You do not need a license from SmartEdTech to download the hands-on activities. Just click on the Communication Card icon and they are yours! New “printables” are added regularly, so keep checking back to see what’s new.
