Great New Functions Available in SmartEdApp Download

iTunes approved SmartEdApp’s new functions in less than 24 hours, a process that usually takes at least seven days!.

Depending upon how you have configured your iPad, you can either connect to WiFi for an automatic update or go to iTunes and tap “Update”. Improved functions include:

Create your own custom flashcard content with the templates provided in the app. You can use your images, record your voice or type your own content to create custom flashcards and share them with other users.

Message any SmartEdApp user from within the app itself. Educators can stay in touch with other educators and parents, and share SmartEdApp information. You can message one person or send group messages.

Educators can now share student information with parents. When info is shared, parents will get an email notification; they can register and download the app at no cost. After logging in, they can see the student’s information, goals, activities and reports shared by their child’s team of educators.

SmartEdApp tutorial videos are now available within the app itself. Click on the play icon in the app to show a specific video. Support at the click of a button!

If the iPad stays idle for more than a specified time, SmartEdApp will be locked out, preventing anyone from accessing the app unless they re-sign in. The idle time is set via Settings in the app.

Upload a student's photo and view it either on the app or the Web portal.
